From certifications and contract vehicles to compliance, logistics, and support, these are the questions we answer most often.

About 4Tech Solutions

What does 4Tech Solutions do?

4Tech Solutions is an IT value-added reseller and services company headquartered in Atlanta. We help organizations source, deploy, and support technology—from hardware and software to telecommunications, A/V, print, and professional services. With access to more than one million products and over 30 years of combined experience, we manage everything from procurement through deployment.

Who does 4Tech Solutions serve?

We support organizations across government, education, healthcare, financial services, life sciences, utilities, manufacturing, retail, and food & beverage. Every industry has different procurement requirements, compliance standards, and deployment needs—and our approach is built around them. See our Industries pages for more.

What's the difference between 4Tech as a reseller and as a service provider?

We don't just supply technology—we help make it work. We source the products, then configure, deploy, integrate, support, and, when needed, manage international logistics and customs. Instead of coordinating multiple vendors, you work with one team from quote through long-term support.

Where is 4Tech Solutions located, and what's your service area?

4Tech Solutions is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, and serves customers nationwide. Our logistics capability also covers international shipment management, customs clearance, and restricted-country compliance for customers with operations that cross borders.

Certifications & diversity credentials

Is 4Tech Solutions a certified diverse supplier?

Yes. 4Tech Solutions is a minority- and woman-owned business and holds the following diversity-supplier certifications:
  • Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) — certified through the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).
  • Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) — certified through the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
  • Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) — federal certifications through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

4Tech also holds state and local diversity-supplier certifications in jurisdictions where it does business.

Procurement & contract vehicles

What contract vehicles can we buy through?

4Tech Solutions sells through a range of federal, state, and cooperative purchasing vehicles — including a GSA contract, NASPO ValuePoint, and major purchasing cooperatives — plus state-specific contracts and direct procurement. The full, current registry of vehicles, with the detail your contracting office needs to verify authorization, is on our Contract Vehicles page.

We're a cooperative-purchasing member. Can we use our cooperative to buy from 4Tech?

In many cases, yes. 4Tech is sourceable through several national purchasing cooperatives. Whether your specific cooperative applies depends on the cooperative and the product category — the Contract Vehicles page lists what's current, and our team will confirm coverage for your office.

Can 4Tech respond to our public bid or RFP?

Yes. 4Tech responds to public bids, RFPs, RFQs, and ITBs as a full bidder and as a teaming partner under a prime, depending on the size and scope of the requirement. Send us the solicitation and we'll confirm fit and timeline.

Do you work with prime contractors as a subcontractor?

Yes. Prime contractors sourcing under their own contract vehicles can route hardware, software, and managed services through 4Tech as a subcontractor or reseller of record — and an engagement with 4Tech can support a prime's small-business and supplier-diversity subcontracting goals.

Compliance & logistics

Do you handle compliance flagging like TAA and EPEAT?

Yes. Compliance attributes — TAA (Trade Agreements Act), EPEAT, ENERGY STAR, and RoHS — are surfaced at the quote stage, before you see the price, so your procurement office can filter the catalog against what your sector requires. Tell us the compliance regime that applies and we build the quote to it.

Can 4Tech support federal compliance requirements?

Yes. 4Tech operates with federal-grade compliance posture in scope — including TAA-compliant hardware sourcing, FedRAMP-aware cloud and software sourcing, a CMMC Level 2 aligned compliance posture for engagements involving Controlled Unclassified Information, ITAR-aware logistics for export-controlled work, and cleared personnel available for engagements that require it. The Federal Government sector page covers this in detail.

Can you ship internationally and handle customs?

Yes. International shipment management, customs clearance, HS classification, and restricted-country compliance are handled in-house as part of our standard logistics — not handed back to the customer or outsourced to a third party.

Working with 4Tech

How do we get a quote or start working with 4Tech?

Start with a short conversation. Contact our team with your requirement — a single quote, a multi-site rollout, a managed program, or a solicitation you need a response to — and we'll confirm scope, compliance flags, and timeline. For catalog browsing, the 4Tech storefront is open anytime.

Do you offer managed services and ongoing support?

Yes. Beyond product sourcing, 4Tech provides configuration, deployment, integration, maintenance contracts, and managed services — with a single point of contact who stays on the engagement after the invoice clears.

What manufacturers and partners does 4Tech work with?

4Tech holds active reseller agreements across a broad set of hardware OEMs and software publishers. The Partners page carries the full roster, organized by category.

Does 4Tech only serve government, or commercial customers too?

Both. 4Tech serves public-sector buyers (federal, state and local, education) and private-sector buyers across regulated and operations-driven industries (healthcare, financial services, life sciences, utilities, manufacturing, retail, food and beverage). The catalog is the same; how we quote, deliver, and support is shaped by what each sector requires.
